Subject: Bodybuilding Supplements
Before you consider using bodybuilding supplements, you should first carefully examine your diet. Many times, simple adjustments to the diet can remove the need for the use of any bodybuilding supplements.

Think about it. People were building fantastic physiques long before there were any bodybuilding supplements on the market. Bodybuilding supplements are relatively new when compared to bodybuilding. Eugene Sandow is often called the father of modern-day bodybuilding. He died in 1925. There weren't any bodybuilding supplements on the market, so he never even had a single can of bodybuilding supplement.
Before using a bodybuilding supplement, examine your diet. Your diet should consist of 30-50% protein, 20-50% carbohydrates, and 20-40% fat (the majority of which should be essential fatty acids).

If you do decide that you want to use a bodybuilding supplement, it's best to totally ignore all of the hype that the companies who manufacture these supplements are putting out there. The company's objective is to SELL the supplement and not to help you build muscle mass. There are some good bodybuilding supplements on the market; but they aren't necessarily the ones making the most noise, and none of them will work if you don't eat a healthy, well-rounded diet.
Remember to look at:
The good muscle-building supplements are designed to augment a part of the muscle-building process and not just to add calories or provide large quantities of vitamins and minerals. The way they work is by taking the nutrients and calories from the FOOD that is consumed and using them to build muscle mass rather than store them as fat. Unless you are consuming a healthy diet that includes enough nutrients and calories, none of the muscle-building supplements will do any good.
